Privacy notice
Last updated 22 October 2026
This notice covers this website, tryvolt.app, and your Volt account. It explains what we collect when you join the waitlist, contact us, or use the Volt app with your account, and what we do with it. The Volt app has its own terms, shared with beta studios when they’re invited.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email, your name if you give it, and your answers to the waitlist questions (your role, team size, where and what you ship, timing, whether you use a Mac, and anything you write in the optional fields).
- Contact form: your name, email, the topic and your message.
- Your Volt account: your email and how you sign in, your plan and ✦ credits, and what you buy (payments themselves are handled by Stripe).
- App usage: when the Volt app is opened and which version it is, and a count of a few things done in it (games made, simulations and Solves, exports, images generated and messages to the agent), with the model or template used. Not your games, art, prompts or messages themselves: those stay on your Mac.
- Basic request data: the page you came from when you signed up, and the standard logs our host keeps to run and protect the site.
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To decide who to invite to the beta, and to invite you.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To understand who Volt is for and what to build next.
- To run your account: your plan, your credits and access during the beta.
We only email you about Volt. We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.
Where it’s kept
The site is hosted on Vercel; accounts, waitlist and contact entries and app usage are stored in a database run by Supabase; payments are processed by Stripe. Each processes the data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Until the beta ends and we no longer need it to invite you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to be taken off the waitlist, through the contact form. Every email we send has a way to stop further emails.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top.
